Kansas City Police report motorcyclist killed in trailer collision.

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a trailer at East 67th Street and Richmond Avenue just before 8 p.m. Thursday.

According to Kansas City Police, the rider was on a white and black Kawasaki motorcycle, traveling westbound with another motorcycle at a high rate of speed.

At the same time, a blue and gray Ford F-250, pulling a trailer, was making a left turn from southbound Richmond onto eastbound 67th Street. Investigators reported that the motorcycle collided with the trailer as the truck neared the completion of its turn.

The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford and three juvenile passengers were unharmed.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident. This marks Kansas City’s 33rd vehicular fatality in 2026, compared to 26 fatalities at this time last year.
