Motorcycle Collision in Kansas City Leaves One Dead, Another Critically Injured
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A motorcyclist was killed and another critically injured in a collision on Northwest Interurban Road early Sunday.
The Kansas City Police Department reported the crash occurred just before 3:45 a.m. near Northwest 128th Street. A blue Harley-Davidson Ultra Glide and a silver Honda CR-V motorcycle were traveling north when the Honda rider failed to negotiate a curve and crashed into the Harley.
Both motorcycles were pushed off the road, resulting in both riders being thrown from their bikes. The Honda rider was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Harley rider was transported to a local hospital and remains in critical condition.
Authorities noted that neither rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. An investigation is ongoing, and no additional details regarding lane closures or towing have been confirmed.
