PRATT COUNTY — A Pratt man died in a motorcycle accident just before 3:30 p.m. Saturday on U.S. 54.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Austin Craig Clifton, 29, was westbound when his 2025 Kawasaki motorcycle rear-ended a 2022 Chevy Silverado driven by Kaylene Marie Black, 37, also of Pratt, near SW 110th Avenue.
Clifton was pronounced dead at the scene and was subsequently transported to Larrison Mortuary. Black and a teenage passenger were uninjured. Authorities confirmed Clifton was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
