Kennedale Teen Remembered by Classmates Following Fatal Motorcycle Accident.

Kennedale High School junior Brendon Burfield, 16, died in a motorcycle accident on September 26, according to school authorities.

Friends reported Burfield was riding with peers when he was accidentally struck by a friend’s motorcycle after stopping his own bike. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m., but further details regarding the exact location and circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.

Following the tragedy, the community organized a balloon release to honor Burfield’s memory. Witnesses described him as outgoing and someone who brightened the lives of those around him. “He made everyone laugh,” said Chase Green, a close friend.

Burfield, who previously attended Venus ISD, is remembered for his adventurous spirit, enduring friendships, and aspirations including building a second-generation truck, which friends plan to pursue in his memory.

As friends and the wider school community mourn his loss, they emphasize the importance of support gatherings during this difficult time. “It’s never going to get easier,” Green stated. “You’re just going to learn to live with it.”

The investigation into the accident continues, with no additional details currently available regarding any charges or further actions.
