Las Vegas Valley experiences fourth fatal motorcycle crash in just over 24 hours during deadly weekend.

Four Motorcyclists Killed in 24 Hours in Las Vegas Valley

LAS VEGAS, NV – A series of motorcycle crashes in Las Vegas Valley resulted in four fatalities over a 24-hour period, according to authorities.

The latest incident occurred on Saturday at approximately 4 p.m. near Las Vegas Boulevard and Blue Diamond Road. A 65-year-old man from Las Vegas died after failing to negotiate a turn and crashing into a U-Haul truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver remained and showed no signs of impairment.

Earlier, at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, a 24-year-old motorcyclist from Thousand Oaks, California, died in a collision at West Oakey Boulevard and Western Avenue. Authorities reported that a 2023 Nissan Ariya made a left turn and struck an eastbound 2004 Yamaha motorcycle. The Nissan driver also remained at the scene and exhibited no impairment.

On Friday at approximately 6 p.m., North Las Vegas Police responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and a car near Cheyenne Avenue and Belmont Street. A male motorcyclist was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead. The motorcycle had collided with the rear of a 2020 Chevrolet Spark that had just completed a U-turn.

Earlier on Friday at 2:20 p.m., a motorcyclist, a 47-year-old man from Las Vegas, died after colliding with a 2003 Ford F-150 pickup truck on Boulder Highway south of East Tropicana Avenue. He was taken to Sunrise Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigations are ongoing for all incidents. No additional details have been released regarding the identities of the deceased.
