Lennox Man Succumbs to Injuries from Motorcycle Crash Near Lead.

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – A 42-year-old man from Lennox died Wednesday from injuries sustained in a crash on Highway 385 near Lead on Saturday.

The man’s name is withheld pending family notification, authorities said.

According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Highway 385, near mile marker 121, when he lost control in a curve.

The rider was airlifted to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries and was not wearing a helmet, authorities confirmed.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing, and no further details have been released.
