LINEFORK, Ky. (WXKQ) – A 67-year-old man died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash on KY-1103 in Linefork on Wednesday evening.
Authorities said Charles Bentley, of Linefork, succumbed to his injuries Friday at Johnson City Medical Center. Investigators report that Bentley’s motorcycle veered off the roadway and struck a tree.
Both Bentley and a female passenger were treated at the scene before being airlifted to the hospital. According to Kentucky State Police, both riders were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
An autopsy has been scheduled, with toxicology results pending. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
