Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of 21-Year-Old in Lincoln

LINCOLN, NE — A motorcycle crash on Thursday claimed the life of 21-year-old Blaine Henderson. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene; however, Henderson succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.

According to authorities, the incident occurred in the early evening, though specific details about the location and circumstances remain under investigation. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash, and no additional injuries were reported.

Family members have been gathering at the hospital, where Brenda Uhing, Henderson’s mother, noted that over 50 friends came to support them. “He had so many friends and he loved life,” Uhing said.

Blaine’s father, Mike Henderson, expressed his devastation, recalling how he rushed to the hospital upon receiving the news. He emphasized his son’s kindness, stating, “He’d do anything for anybody.”

A memorial ride is scheduled for Sunday at noon, starting at Star City Sports, to honor Henderson’s memory. The family has urged the public to exercise caution on the roads.
