An 84-year-old man from Lincoln died Wednesday in a motorcycle crash on Route 6 in Washington County, according to Maine State Police.
Dean Bradbury was riding westbound at approximately 3:25 p.m. when he lost control while navigating a left-hand curve. His motorcycle veered off the road and into a wooded area, resulting in him being ejected from the bike.
Bradbury was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities reported that he was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
The crash is under investigation by Maine State Police, who were assisted by the Maine Warden Service, the Maine Forestry Service, and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. Lane closures were in effect during the investigation.
