An off-duty Slidell, LA, police officer was killed in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday evening, authorities confirmed Thursday.
The deceased, identified as Lt. Ray Dupuy, sustained serious injuries in the crash. The Louisiana State Police is investigating the incident and will provide further details as they become available, according to reports from NOLA.com.
