Galveston, TX — November 5, 2023, a motorcycle accident claimed the life of a 44-year-old man from Deridder, Louisiana, early Saturday at approximately 2:00 a.m.
Authorities reported the incident occurred at the intersection of 8 Mile Road and Sportsman Road. The man was riding a Harley-Davidson northbound when the motorcycle continued into a dead-end and crashed into a fence.
Emergency responders confirmed the individual was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
