Maine Motorcyclist Dies in Laconia Crash.

MANCHESTER, N.H. — A 59-year-old man from Turner, Maine, died in a motorcycle crash in Laconia early Sunday morning.

Emergency responders were dispatched to Watson Road shortly after midnight, where they found the man deceased at the scene, according to police. Investigators reported that he was traveling from Watson Road to Scenic Road when he lost control, striking a metal pole and a log splitter.

Authorities indicated that the motorcyclist had been at the scene for some time before being discovered. Preliminary assessments suggest speed may have been a contributing factor; however, toxicology results are pending.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, and no further details are available at this time.
