Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Collision with Van on State Route 4
HOLT, Calif. (Sept. 2, 2026) — A traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a Ford Transit van occurred Wednesday on State Route 4 near West Bacon Island Road, leading to major injuries.
The incident happened at approximately 10:53 a.m. in the eastbound lanes. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the motorcyclist was found down on the right side of the road.
Emergency responders, including CHP units, arrived at the scene by 11:02 a.m. The motorcyclist sustained significant injuries and was transported via ambulance for medical treatment.
