Motorcycle Accident Leaves Rider in Critical Condition in Kaysville

KAYSVILLE — A motorcycle accident Sunday on West Davis Highway sent a 34-year-old man to the hospital in critical condition, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred in the southbound lanes at approximately 2:41 p.m. Authorities reported that the rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Emergency response teams, including the Kaysville Fire Department, arrived on scene and provided medical aid before airlifting the injured man to a local hospital for further treatment.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident, and the southbound lanes of West Davis Highway were temporarily closed during the emergency response. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
