Man charged after toddler injured in motorcycle crash without a helmet, records reveal.

BLOUNT COUNTY, Ala. — A man faces multiple charges after an 18-month-old child suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident on February 14.

According to court documents, Aaron Lee Roberson, 30, drove his motorcycle under the influence of alcohol with the child riding without a helmet.

Authorities reported that Roberson was speeding and driving recklessly on a paved road when he crashed, resulting in serious head and facial injuries to the child.

After the accident, Roberson did not call 911 and left the scene without notifying anyone.

He is charged with second-degree assault, leaving the scene of an accident with injury, reckless endangerment, and reckless driving.
