Motorcyclist dies after collision on Detroit’s east side
DETROIT – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision involving a Dodge Durango on Van Dyke Avenue.
The incident occurred on September 13 at approximately 11:30 p.m., near Robinwood Street. Authorities said Antawuan Brown was driving the Durango when the motorcycle was struck.
The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Emergency personnel from the DETROIT POLICE DEPARTMENT responded to the scene.
A woman was also taken into custody, although her role in the incident remains unclear. Brown has been charged with operating while license suspended, revoked, or denied causing death; possession of controlled substances; and moving violation causing death.
