KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – A motorcycle crash at the I-70 and I-635 interchange seriously injured a 38-year-old man late Wednesday night.
The incident occurred just after 10 p.m. on July 22, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP).
Authorities reported that the man was riding a 2010 Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide eastbound on I-70 when he exited northbound onto I-635.
Investigators said the motorcycle veered off the roadway to the right, throwing the driver into a metal guardrail. The motorcycle continued down the ramp, striking the guardrail multiple times before stopping.
First responders located the driver in the right ditch and shoulder area. He was subsequently transported to the University of Kansas Medical Center with suspected serious injuries.
