Tucson, AZ. – A motorcyclist has died several days after a collision on East Catalina Highway in Tucson.
According to the Tucson Police Department, the accident happened on East Catalina Highway near East Dawn Post Road at around 3:40 p.m. on December 20.
An 89-year-old man was riding a 2006 Kawasaki VN900 when he crashed into a Dodge Ram 1500 that was making a left turn from a private driveway.
The motorcyclist was transported to a hospital where he died on Thursday, January 2.
The pickup truck’s 41-year-old driver was cited for failure to yield from a private driveway.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
