POST FALLS, ID – A motorcyclist was killed in a high-speed crash on October 12, 2025, according to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO). The incident occurred around 2:41 p.m. on Spokane Street near the intersection with 7th Avenue.
Authorities reported that the motorcyclist was traveling at excessive speeds when they lost control, leading to the fatal accident. Emergency medical personnel arrived on the scene but were unable to revive the rider, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The KCSO is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Both directions of Spokane Street experienced lane closures for several hours during the investigation and clean-up. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and no additional injuries were reported.
