NORMAN, OK — A motorcycle accident at 24th Avenue Southeast and Tahoe Drive on Wednesday evening left a man critically injured, according to authorities. The collision occurred around 7 p.m. and involved one motorcycle and one car.
Emergency responders from the Norman Fire Department arrived on the scene and provided medical aid. The injured motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital; his current condition has not been disclosed.
Witnesses reported seeing the motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed shortly before the accident. This incident marks the second serious motorcycle accident in Norman on the same day, as another earlier wreck resulted in a fatality on the north side of town.
