Man in motorcycle accident near Harrison/Marion county line identified.

ADAMSVILLE, W.Va. (WDTV) – A motorcycle accident was reported near the Harrison and Marion county line on Monday morning, resulting in one injury.

The incident occurred around 11 a.m. on Francis Mine Road, according to Harrison County 911 officials. The single-vehicle accident involved a motorcycle, and the driver was ejected.

HealthNet and Harrison County Emergency Medical Services arrived on the scene shortly after the accident was reported. The driver, identified as Cole Andrew Watson, was injured, but his current condition is not known.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and local fire departments, including the Shinnston and Worthington Fire Departments, also responded to the scene. Lane closures were implemented during the emergency response.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
