Jacksonville, Fl. – A 47-year-old man died after being struck by a car on Sunday evening in Jacksonville.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on U.S. 17 near Rensselaer Avenue.
A motorcycle was traveling north on Highway 17 when it collided with a southbound sedan that was turning left onto Rensselaer Avenue.
The motorcycle was killed in the accident.
The sedan driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
