Lehigh Acres, FL. – A 45-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Monday evening in Lehigh Acres.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6:52 p.m. on Leeland Heights Boulevard East (CR-884) near North Avenue.
The man was riding a motorcycle heading east on CCR-884 when he collided with an SUV turning onto CR-884 from North Avenue.
The man suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The 31-year-old Lehigh Acres woman driving the SUV suffered minor injuries in the accident.
FHP is investigating the accident.
