Lee County, FL. – A 31-year-old Fort Myers man died in a motorcycle accident on Friday afternoon in Lee County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 12:45 p.m. on Alico Road near Esplanade Lake Club Boulevard.
A motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Alico Road and was attempting to pass another vehicle when he crashed into a dump truck.
The unidentified man died at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
