A motorcycle crash resulted in the death of a Maryland man on June 19 in Loyalsock Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:16 p.m. on the eastbound Interstate 180 exit ramp to Warrensville Road.

Authorities identified the victim as 65-year-old Michael C. Bay of Westminster, Maryland. He was riding a 2000 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide when he lost control while attempting to exit the highway.

Police stated that Bay made an abrupt right turn to take the exit ramp but struck the guide rail, ejecting him from the motorcycle. His body reportedly traveled along the guide rail for about 40 feet.
