Motorcyclist Dies in Loyalsock Township Crash
Loyalsock Township, PA—A 65-year-old motorcyclist from Westminster, Maryland, was killed in a single-vehicle crash on the Warrensville Road off-ramp of Interstate 180 East at approximately 6:10 p.m. on Friday.
The motorcyclist, identified as Michael Bay, was wearing a helmet when he lost control and crashed. He was pronounced dead shortly before 7 p.m. in the emergency room, according to the Lycoming County Deputy Coroner.
Emergency services, including township firefighters, paramedics, and fire police from Montoursville and South Williamsport, responded to the scene, along with State Department of Transportation employees. The off-ramp remained closed until about 9:15 p.m. as Pennsylvania State Police conducted their investigation.
The incident remains under investigation by authorities. No further details on injuries or cause of the crash have been released.
