BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. (WSBT) — A memorial ride on Sunday honored firefighter Zach Poole, 33, who died in a motorcycle accident on Friday.
Poole was killed when a Jeep turned in front of his motorcycle around 10:30 a.m. near Meadowbrook and Michael Roads, authorities said.
The memorial ride commenced at 11 a.m. from the crash site, with participants gathering to pay their respects.
All funds raised during the event were directed to Poole’s mother to assist with funeral expenses.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing, and no further details on injuries or vehicle damage have been released.
