SAN ANTONIO – A motorcycle crash early Thursday resulted in the death of a 30-year-old woman on Culebra Road, according to authorities.
The incident occurred around 12:20 a.m. in the 9400 block of Culebra Road, near Tezel Road. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the identity of the woman as Brittani Flanders.
Flanders fell off the motorcycle for unknown reasons, and the driver fled the scene, according to a preliminary report from San Antonio Police Department (SAPD). She was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to her injuries, authorities said.
The cause and manner of death are still under investigation by the Medical Examiner’s Office. Details regarding the motorcyclist who left the scene remain unavailable at this time.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
