KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 53-year-old man from Albert Lea, Minnesota, died Thursday in a motorcycle crash on southbound Interstate 35 at Pleasant Valley Road.
The incident occurred around 2:41 p.m. when the man’s 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle veered off the interstate and struck a guardrail, ejecting him from the vehicle.
He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).
Southbound lanes were closed for about an hour while emergency responders managed the scene. MSHP’s crash team is investigating the accident, but the names of individuals involved in traffic fatalities are not released.
