Minnesota Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash in Oregon County.

A 66-year-old motorcycle rider from Minnesota was injured in a crash west of Alton on Wednesday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on U.S. 160 at approximately 12:30 p.m. The rider was traveling west when he went off the right side of the roadway while negotiating a curve.

Authorities reported that the 2004 Yamaha motorcycle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene. The rider was wearing a safety device and sustained minor injuries.

Emergency services, including the Oregon County Ambulance, transported the injured man to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. No further details regarding the investigation have been released.
