Minnesota Motorcyclist Killed in I-35 Crash in Kansas City.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Local News Wire) – A fatal motorcycle accident occurred on southbound I-35 near Pleasant Valley Road at approximately 3:30 p.m. on February 12.

Authorities confirmed that a 53-year-old man from Albert Lea, Minnesota, was operating a 2015 Harley Davidson when he veered off the left side of the highway and collided with a guardrail. The impact threw him into the left lane.

Emergency responders arrived, and the driver was transported to North Kansas City Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:20 p.m. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, according to officials.

Southbound traffic was diverted onto Pleasant Valley Road during the investigation. The motorcycle was totaled in the crash.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
