Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G Reports Multiple Injury Accidents on Wednesday.

ALTON, MO – A motorcycle accident on Missouri P severely injured a 45-year-old man on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred approximately six miles west of Alton when the rider struck a deer, causing the motorcycle to overturn. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man was airlifted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.

In a separate incident, a 36-year-old man from Springfield sustained serious injuries after his semi-truck crashed off Highway J, about 12 miles south of Gainesville. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Two residents of Caulfield were injured in a collision on Highway 101, eight miles north of Bakersfield. An 80-year-old man driving a pickup rear-ended a John Deere tractor driven by another 80-year-old Caulfield man. The pickup driver suffered moderate injuries, while the tractor driver sustained minor injuries.

Additionally, a 66-year-old man from Minnesota incurred minor injuries in a motorcycle accident on Highway 160, seven miles west of Alton, when he veered off the road while navigating a curve.

Emergency responders from multiple agencies provided assistance at all accident scenes. Further details regarding ongoing investigations have not been disclosed.
