One man died in a motorcycle crash in Montgomery County on Tuesday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred at 8:30 p.m. on Route J at Loutre Valley Lane. A 1992 Harley Davidson Sportster 883 was involved in the crash, running off the left side of the roadway and striking an embankment.
According to the crash report, the motorcyclist was ejected and hit a concrete culvert twice before coming to a stop. The driver, a 42-year-old man from Danville, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities noted that the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
