WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — A motorcycle accident occurred at Strawberry Ridge around 10 p.m. on Thursday, prompting a search and rescue response.
According to authorities, search and rescue teams arrived to find one injured individual. They successfully transported the patient and the motorcycle off the mountain.
No fatalities were reported in the incident. However, it underscored the importance of motorcycle safety, especially given Utah’s recent surge in motorcycle-related fatalities.
In 2025, Utah recorded 72 motorcycle fatalities, with a significant portion of riders lacking proper endorsements or safety training. The Utah Department of Public Safety has launched the “Ride to Live Utah” campaign to address these concerns and promote rider education.
