A motorcyclist was transported to OhioHealth Van Wert Hospital following a crash on U.S. 30 near the Lincoln Highway exit in Van Wert at approximately 3:50 p.m. Monday.
According to authorities, the motorcycle veered off the roadway into the median. The operator, a female whose age was not immediately available, reported no recollection of the incident to Van Wert County deputies.
Emergency responders from the Van Wert Fire Department provided medical aid at the scene before the motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to the hospital. No additional injuries or fatalities were reported.
