Motorcyclist Injured in 405 Freeway Crash in Santa Ana
SANTA ANA, CA – A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a collision with a car on the northbound 405 Freeway on May 29 at 7:41 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred between MacArthur Boulevard and Jamboree Road, causing the rider to crash and fall onto the traffic lanes. First responders discovered the motorcyclist bleeding from significant injuries and transported the victim to a local hospital, with their condition currently unknown.
Following the accident, all northbound lanes of the freeway were blocked, impacting the Jamboree Road exit. Motorists were seen using the Jamboree Road on-ramp to divert around the area. By 8:41 p.m., all lanes had reopened.
Authorities confirmed an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
