1 Killed in Mission Hills Motorcycle Accident on I-5 at Washington Street
San Diego, CA – A motorcycle accident in Mission Hills resulted in one fatality early Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 1:13 a.m. on southbound I-5 at Washington Street involving two vehicles. One motorcycle came to rest on the right-hand shoulder, while the second vehicle was positioned in the center divider.
One individual died as a result of the crash. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
Emergency response teams were on the scene, and an investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing. Roadway conditions were affected; updates on lane closures are pending.
