ATCHAFALAYA, La. (WAFB) – A serious crash involving a motorcycle and a car occurred on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge on March 22, 2026, at 2:41 p.m.
According to Acadian Ambulances, emergency crews are on site, including ground units and a medical helicopter.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development reported that I-10 eastbound lanes were initially closed but have since reopened. However, drivers should anticipate delays in the area.
