MAINE PRAIRIE TOWNSHIP (WJON News) — A motorcycle collided with an SUV on Highway 15 near Kimball on Friday afternoon, injuring one rider.
The crash occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 24-year-old Tristin Emholtz of Becker was turning onto 135th Street while traveling south when it struck a Victory Cross Country motorcycle operated by 44-year-old Andrew Guth of Kimball, also heading south.
Guth sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Cloud Hospital. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Emholtz and a passenger, 23-year-old Taylor Emholtz, were unharmed.
Authorities reported lane closures during the emergency response. The incident remains under investigation.
