Motorcycle-Car Collision Results in Serious Injuries in Hannibal

HANNIBAL — A motorcycle-car collision on Friday evening resulted in serious injuries for two individuals in Hannibal, Missouri.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 7:08 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 61 and West Ely Road. A 2026 CF Moto motorcycle, operated by a 19-year-old male from Hannibal, failed to yield to a traffic signal and collided with a 2009 Mercury Milan driven by a 55-year-old woman from Palmyra, Missouri.
Both the motorcycle driver and his passenger, a 21-year-old woman also from Hannibal, sustained serious injuries and were transported by Survival Flight to University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
The Hannibal Police Department, Marion County Ambulance, and Hannibal Fire Department responded to the scene. An investigation into the incident is ongoing, and no further details have been confirmed regarding lane closures or tows.
