Motorcycle-Car Crash Seriously Injures Two in Hannibal

HANNIBAL — Two individuals were seriously injured in a motorcycle-car collision on Friday evening in Hannibal, Missouri.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 7:08 p.m. on U.S. 61 at West Ely Road. A 2026 CF Moto motorcycle, operated by a 19-year-old man from Hannibal, failed to yield to a traffic signal and collided with a 2009 Mercury Milan driven by a 55-year-old woman from Palmyra.
The motorcycle driver and his passenger, a 21-year-old woman from Hannibal, sustained serious injuries and were airlifted by Survival Flight to University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
Emergency response included the Hannibal Police Department, Marion County Ambulance, and Hannibal Fire Department, who assisted on-site. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
