Motorcycle-Car Crash Seriously Injures Two in Hannibal

HANNIBAL — A motorcycle-car collision resulted in serious injuries to two individuals Friday evening in Hannibal, Missouri.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2026 CF Moto motorcycle, operated by a 19-year-old man from Hannibal, collided with a 2009 Mercury Milan driven by a 55-year-old woman from Palmyra. The crash occurred at 7:08 PM at the intersection of U.S. 61 and West Ely Road after the motorcycle failed to yield to a traffic signal.

Both the motorcycle driver and his 21-year-old female passenger sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, via Survival Flight.

The Hannibal Police Department, Marion County Ambulance, and Hannibal Fire Department responded to the incident.

Authorities are investigating the crash. No further details on the injuries or the status of the ongoing investigation were provided.
