WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE) – A motorcycle collided with an 18-wheeler at Cypress Street and Circle Drive on [insert date] at approximately 11:30 a.m., resulting in injuries to the motorcycle driver.
According to West Monroe Police, the 18-wheeler was turning left from Zephyr Road when the motorcycle, traveling east on Cypress, struck its rear. The motorcycle driver is currently receiving medical treatment.
Authorities confirmed that the 18-wheeler driver has been cited for failure to yield while turning left. Emergency responders are on the scene managing the situation.
