CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) – A motorcycle accident claimed one life in Clay County on Saturday night.
According to the Kentucky State Police, the single-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. on KY 484 in Manchester.
Troopers reported that 37-year-old Roger L. Trent of Sizemore was operating a dirt bike southbound on KY 484 when he collided with a fallen tree while making a sharp left turn. Authorities stated Trent was ejected from the motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
The Clay County Coroner’s Office pronounced Trent dead at the scene.
Kentucky State Police is conducting the investigation into the crash.
