DANVERS, Mass. —
A serious motorcycle crash closed a roadway in Danvers on Tuesday afternoon. The collision occurred at the intersection of Sylvan Street and Ash Street around 2:41 p.m.
Witnesses reported a motorcycle pinned beneath a pickup truck. The conditions of the motorcycle rider and pickup driver have not been confirmed.
Authorities from the Danvers Police Department and Massachusetts State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
Traffic is being diverted around the area; motorists are advised to use alternate routes until further notice.
