Motorcycle crash in Escambia County, Florida, leaves two dead.

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — Two individuals died following a motorcycle crash on Interstate 110 on July 2 at 8:30 p.m.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 43-year-old male driver and 45-year-old female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.

The motorcycle was traveling northbound on I-110 when it left the roadway, struck a concrete traffic barrier, and subsequently caused both riders to be thrown over an overpass.

Authorities have confirmed there were no other vehicles involved. Emergency services responded promptly, but both victims were already deceased upon arrival.

The incident is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol, and lane closures were reported at the scene.
