Motorcycle Crash in Fargo Leaves One Dead.

Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Fargo Involves SUV

FARGO, N.D. – A 26-year-old motorcyclist died Saturday morning after colliding with an SUV at 11:30 a.m. on June 7.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the motorcycle was traveling northbound on 36th Street South at a high rate of speed when the driver failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of 36th Street South and Westrac Drive. The motorcycle struck the passenger side of a Ford Expedition, which was passing through the intersection.

The rider, identified as Andrew Rose of Fargo, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. The 47-year-old driver of the Expedition, a West Fargo resident, was uninjured. A passenger, a 55-year-old woman from West Fargo, sustained minor injuries.

Authorities confirmed that the crash is still under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol, and additional details will be released as they become available.
