[MARSHALL COUNTY, Iowa] — Two people died in a motorcycle crash on 295th Street Sunday night.
Brandon Overman, 31, lost control of his motorcycle while attempting to pass a vehicle in a no-passing zone, according to the Iowa State Patrol. The incident occurred just before 9:30 p.m. between Davidson and Durham avenues.
The motorcycle slid into a ditch, ejecting both Overman and his passenger, 27-year-old Chandler Kendall. Overman was pronounced dead at the scene, while Kendall was transported to Mercy Hospital, where he later died.
Authorities confirmed that an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
