A motorcycle crash in Miller County on Monday left one man critically injured.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the incident occurred around 3:50 p.m. on MO-Y. A 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling south when the 54-year-old driver from Barnett, Mo., attempted to avoid another vehicle and overturned.
Emergency responders transported the driver to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance. Authorities confirmed he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
MSHP officials are investigating the incident, and there were no reports of other vehicles involved or additional injuries. Lane closures were in effect during the emergency response.
