A Green City man was injured in a motorcycle crash early Saturday morning in Putnam County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred on May 9, 2026, at approximately 6 a.m. on Highway Y, about a quarter mile south of 340th Road. Authorities reported that a 2011 Harley-Davidson Softail traveling southbound veered off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
The 69-year-old driver sustained moderate injuries and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. He was transported by Putnam County Ambulance to MercyOne Centerville Medical Center in Centerville, Iowa.
The motorcycle incurred minor damage and was secured at the roadside. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department and Unionville Fire Department assisted at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
